Following an extensive period of development, Just Flight has released its awaited BAe 146 Professional for Microsoft Flight Simulator.
With the product, you are getting eight different variants of the 146. This includes the -100, -200, and -300, plus various cargo and military variants all in a single package, offering plenty of different flying styles. Alongside those models, you will also get a range of liveries included for airlines from all over the world.
As has been the standard with Just Flight aircraft as of late, there are plenty of custom features that take the aircraft to the next level. Included is a custom electrical, hydraulic and fueling system, along with a purpose-built EFB to control various aspects of the plane. Such things include doors, ground units and setting the aircraft’s payload.
The auto-flight system has been built to allow multiple modes, whilst CAT 2 approach monitoring systems are simulated. A fully functional FMC is also included that supports SID and STARs, holding patterns and LNAV autopilot modes. There’s also SimBrief import functionality for those looking to easily access their flight plans online.
Alongside the detailed textures and modelling, there is also a rich Wwise sound package that is recorded from an actual 146 offering an authentic-sounding plane. For those who use VR, you will be able to take advantage of the 3D sound sources for an immersive feeling.
To help accommodate both newcomers and experienced simmers, a 258-page PDF manual is included with a flight tutorial, system guide and more. There are also numerous online videos produced by Just Flight to teach you everything you’ll need to know.
You can buy the BAe 146 Professional now for Microsoft Flight Simulator from the Just Flight store for £49.99 / €59.95 / $64.99. Those who owned the plane on the past platforms will now instead get a 10% discount.
